Juanita Wooten, 71, of Warsaw, died at 11:15 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 2021, at her home.

Born on June 2, 1950, in LaPorte, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Wintford and Leona (Lee) Bailey. Growing up in South Whitley, she completed her schooling at Warsaw High School.

On June 2, 1992, she married Calvin Wooten. They made their home in Marion. He survives.

A full-time homemaker, she was a mother of six children.

Enjoying bright and colorful clothing and accessories, she liked to shop and finish the day with dinner out at an area restaurant. She looked forward to the holidays and appropriately ended on one. In her senior years, she became good at drawing, coloring, and playing BINGO.

Surviving are her children, Darvin Webb of Wabash, Melissa (Eric) Blocher of Columbia City, Kevin (Letty) Webb of Columbia City, Bobbie Jean Tevis of Connersville, Kimberly (Joel) Delgado of Texas; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Jane (Charlie) Boring, William (Becky) Bailey, Elam Bailey all of Warsaw, Marlene Bailey of Pierceton and Matthew Bailey of California.
