Jennie Call Partridge, 85, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2023, at Madison Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her children, in Rexburg, Idaho. She was born on December 1, 1937, in Afton, Wyoming to Evan and Bessie Call. She was the second of 14 children and grew up in a loving and hardworking family.

She married Alden Robertson Partridge on June 12, 1957, in the Idaho Falls Temple. They had 12 children together, who were the joy of their lives. Jennie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She loved to cook, sew, garden, and serve others. She worked in Food Services at Ricks College for many years and was known for her delicious salads and desserts.

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She has lived and raised her family in Rexburg since 1968, and loved her community.

She is survived by her children: Dennis (Paula), Linda (Richard Mayes), Tannis (Joe Spaulding), Annette (Tom Gagetta), Karren (Richard Nelson), Darin (Keturah), Don Alden, Janell (Bill Tufts), Marianne (John Schwartz), Toni (Albert Gibbs); and 42 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alden, her son Wayne, her daughter Carolyn, her brother Ben Call, and her parents.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 14 at 11 a.m. at the Sundance 12th Ward building at 602 Sundance, Rigby, ID. A viewing will be held that morning, at the Sundance building, before the service from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, Rigby Idaho.
