Charlie Goins 96, formerly of Tuscumbia, died Saturday at Crestview Nursing Home Haleyville.
He was a native of Colbert Co. a retired farmer and a member of Sunnyside Church of God.
Surviving is a daughter Mrs. Beatrice Wilbanks, Tuscumbia, a brother Floyd Goins, Town Creek, eight grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
Services will be conducted today at 2 pm from Sunnyside Church of God, Frankfort Rd Tuscumbia, by the Rev. Ellis Wright.
Burial will be in Guy Cemetery. Morrison Elkins funeral home of Tuscumbia directing.
Bearers will be Edward Lee Cole, Sherrill Cole, James Franks, Gene Harley, and Charles Wilbanks.
The body will remain at the Morrison Elkins funeral home until time for service.
