He was a native and lifelong resident of Colbert Co., a retired carpenter, and a member of Freewill Baptist Church.
Services were conducted today at 2 pm from Spry Funeral Home, Chapel Sheffield, by Rev Robert Coleman.

Surviving is the widow Mrs. Edna Florence Goins, Sheffield, brothers Floyd, Town Creek, Charlie Leighton, Lester Frankfort Al., nieces and nephews.
