David Robich, 61, of Ely was called home by the Lord on Thursday, March 13, 2008 to be united with his parents in Heaven following a long period of health problems.

David was born on August 18, 1946. David was a member of the KSKJ Lodge and the Ely Moose Lodge in Ely.

He was a huge Elvis Presley fan. If you ever visited his apartment you would have noticed this because all the wall space was covered with Elvis memorabilia and pictures of his loved ones. His vacation to Graceland was the highlight of David's life. He was a special person who didn't have much, but was always there when someone needed a helping hand.

David is survived by his brothers, Joe and Richard and sisters, Barbara (Llyn) Nihart all of Ely and Loretta (Rob) Juhl of Lino Lakes, MN; niece, Christine (Jeff) Myers of Ely; three nephews, Thomas and Mathew Juhl of Lino Lakes, MN and Brian Nihart of Ely; two great-nieces, Nicole and Briana Nihart and one great-nephew, Justine Nihart all of Ely; along with many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joe Robich in 1970 and Ann Robich in 2004.

Memorial Mass was held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Ely with Father James Scheuer as celebrant. Spring burial will be at the Ely Cemetery.

Family services by Kerntz Brothers, A Bauman Family Funeral Home in Ely.
