Marie Aaron Till, beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023 at the age of 74.
Marie was a source of unwavering love and guidance for her children and grandchildren. Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled. She was a strong woman who faced many challenges in life with courage and dignity. She always had a smile on her face and never complained.
Marie was born on May 9th, 1949 to Jim and Ruby Aaron. She grew up in Van Alstyne, TX along with her 8 siblings. She married Don Till on March 28th, 2000.
She is survived by son Shawn Wright of Tom Bean, TX and daughter Jennifer Arterburn of Pottsboro, TX. Seven grandchildren Austin (Makayla), Zach, Jake, Avery, Kaitlyn, Kameron and Kaden. Sisters Barbara Beard, Carolyn Beaty, and Bobbie Phillips (John). Brothers Jimmie Aaron and Wayne Aaron. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don Till, as well as her brothers Homer Aaron, Jerry Aaron, and Ronnie Aaron.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to caregiver Sara Schulte, her nurse Jana Neff, therapist James Foreman and the entire staff of Patients Best Choice.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday July 29th at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne, TX. Services immediately following at 11 a.m. Burial at Van Alstyne Cemetery. Pastor Mark Fletcher of Elmont Baptist Church will officiate.
