Funeral service for Bobby V. Maples, 85, will be Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Valhermoso Holiness Church with Bro. Gerald Case officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Maples died on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Falkville Health Care Center. He was born February 5, 1938, in Morgan County, to Melvin Hubert Maples and Alma Louisa Allen Maples.
He was employed with Copeland Corporation, working with the Maintenance Department, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church, a member of the Somerville Mason's Lodge and enjoyed wood working in his shop. He loved his family and was a wonderful father and husband. He was also an Alabama Football fan.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter: Connie Maples, a brother: Ray Maples and a sister: Joyce Maples.
