Professional Basketball Player. He achieved national prominence when he led collegiate basketball in scoring during the 1967-1968 season with his 36.2 points-per-game average while playing at Western Carolina University. Additionally, he became the first black player for the school's basketball program. Born Henry Lee Logan, he attended Stephens-Lee High School prior to enrolling at Western Carolina University, where he became one of the school's all time greats. Selected by the Seattle SuperSonics during the 4th round of the 1968 NBA Draft, he ended up signing with the Oakland Oaks of the American Basketball Association. For two-seasons, (1968 to 1970), he played at the shooting-guard and point-guard positions in the American Basketball Association with the Oakland Oaks and Washington Capitols. He experienced a championship season with the Oakland Oaks 1969. He was inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame in 2000.
