A native and lifelong resident of Housatonic, Adeline was born May 4, 1911, at the family home on Oak Street, daughter of Erminio and Mary Bertoli Sermini.
She attended local schools and graduated in 1928 from the former Searles High School in Great Barrington.
She graduated from the former North Adams State College, now MCLA, in 1930 and The University of Hartford in 1956.
In 1976 Adeline retired from Berkshire Hills Regional School District, where she had been a Grade 3 teacher at the Stockbridge Plain School for 20 years.
She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in Housatonic and a member of its Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Thursday Morning Club, the Berkshire County Teachers Association and the Massachusetts Retired Teachers Association.
Her husband of over 65 years, George R. Angelini, whom she married Nov. 13, 1933, at Corpus Christi Church, died May 3, 1999.
She leaves her son, Bruce Angelini and his wife Angela, of Windsor, Conn,; two daughters, Mary Zmistowski of Indiantown, Fla., and Nan Foster and her husband, Maurice, of Portsmouth, N.H.; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Irving and Harry Sermini.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Adeline Angelini was held at Corpus Church, conducted by the Rev. William Murphy, pastor.
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation was held at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington.
