Prvt or Corp Andrew J Dockins is buried at Eden Cemetery in Lakemont, GA in a grave marked by a stone. The Military Headstone Application is shown in the attached photo. His Wife, Mary Catherine Jones Dockins applied for the headstone in 1940 at the age of 93 but passed away before the headstone could be claimed at the Rail station in Toccoa. When Mary passed away in 1941, her family claimed the military headstone and placed it at Wiley Cemetery (where Mary C Dockins was buried) in honor of her husband, Andrew. His brother, Matthew C Dockins, also has his military headstone at Wiley Cemetery beside them. A photo of the Muster Roll includes his name with 3 others buried in here at Eden Cemetery. Co F, GA Regiment, "State Guards".
