93, of Cornwall Manor went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2008. Charles was born in Rochester, where he was a newspaper man until he entered the Army and served in WWII as a SSGT. After the war, he worked on the NY Central Railroad and resided in Manlius, NY, before moving to Pennsylvania. Charles belonged to many veterans organizations; he enjoyed fishing and bird watching. Charles is survived by his two loving daughters, Alice M. Hunter of Greenfield, MA, and Barbara A. Lehmann (Edward) of Mattydale, NY; a sister, Lois Borgman (Ken) of Florida; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Proulx of MA; a special friend, Beatrice MacIntyre of Cornwall. Dad enjoyed six grandchildren, Anthony Orso and John Dowling, both of Texas, James Dowling of MA, Edward Lehmann III of Syracuse, Jennifer Dunkley of Chittenango and Mathew Dowling of Florida. He also leaves 11 great-grandchildren.
