Second wife of Robert Sevier Parr, who was married to Rachel Vianna Alexander Parr, her sister, until her death in 1865. Robert and Rachel were parents to George Washington Parr. Rebecca married Robert in 1868. The sister were daughters of George Alexander and Margaret Farnsworth of Johnson County, Indiana. Rebecca was mother to James, Harry, Riley, Ira and Roscoe and step-mother to George W. Parr.
Family lore says she and her husband Robert Sevier Parr went to visit their son Roscoe Stanley Parr in Fitzgerald, Georgia, where he built and taught at the first school house in the community. While there she contracted and died of yellow fever.
