Mrs. Floyd was born in Manchester, TN to her late parents Ira Vann and Nannie Hendrix Vann. She was the main butcher for Spring Street Market for many years. Mrs. Floyd was a member of New Life Church of Manchester, TN. In her free time, she loved gardening and loved working with flowers. Mrs. Floyd also loved to travel and loved going to the gun range and shooting. She enjoyed taking walks with her sister on a regular basis. Mrs. Floyd and her sister were known as the "prayer warriors" of their church and prayed for everyone when they could. She was a hard working person and always stayed busy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Floyd, and many brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Floyd is survived by son, Paul (Annette) Floyd; daughters, Paula (Sherman) Coulter and Rebekah (Benjamin) Gassman; grandchildren, Kyle (Vanessa) Coulter, Mandy Mann, Tiffany (Tyler) Kaeser, Hope (Jonathan) Yeske, Holly (Silas) Carroll, Amanda Clouse, and Doug Clouse; great grandchildren, Kaydence, Kadrianne, Braylen, Mallary, Mylah, Brinley, Auburn, Trace, Zeke, Zion, and Kelty.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 12:00pm until 2:30pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Graveside services will be held following visitation at 3:00pm at Ragsdale Cemetery with Jonathan Jones, Bro. Howard Carroll, and Bro. David Siler officiating. Burial will immediately follow the graveside service at the cemetery.
