James Walter Bailey, 66, of Williamstown, died Friday, February 29, 2008, at Hospice Care Center of Northern Kentucky in Fort Thomas.
He was born in Williamstown, a son of the late Matthew and Adah Bailey.
He was a retired switchman for the L & N Railroad and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Erskine of Elsmere, Retina Hutton of Covington and Rose Hughes of Florence; a brother, Lee Thomas Bailey of Florence; sisters, Ann Stevens of Verona and Daisy Mae Marston of Lexington; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 2 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown.
