Rosemary was born on February 19, 1929 in Jefferson City Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Sheriff Ben S. Markway and Jenny Eveler Markway. Her brothers Robert and Lee also preceded her in death.
In 1959, Rose married the love of her life, Fred W. Kelpe, and for the next 53 years they enjoyed traveling the world together, fishing, golfing and living a full and joyful life.
Rosemary is survived by her sister-in-law, Mart Markway; six nieces and nephews, Bob and Cathy Markway, Jim and Diane Markway, Rick and Susan Markway, Susan and Kerry Rotolo, Ann and Ben Cowen, and Mary and Roger Turnham; 14 great-nieces and nephews; and 20 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where Rosemary will be laid to rest beside her beloved Fred.
