Death came to Guy Hyde at the Secor Hospital Tuesday night. He had been suffering for some time with appendicitis and complication. He was in such a serious condition when brought to the hospital that he could not be operated upon.
Death came at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday. The funeral services were at the Sunset Cemetery Wednesday, August 7, 3 p.m., Rev. A. T. Nixon of Ingram officiating.
Guy Hyde was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fee [sic Theodore C.] Hyde of the Divide and had spent his life in that section. He was born June 13, 1886, died August 6, 1929.
