Nancy Peck married Samuel Bard (sometimes Baird), March 10,1825. She was the daughter of Amos and Mary Wagman Peck. Her brothers were Henry Wagman Peck and Amos Peck. Her sisters were Elizabetn Clark, Rachel Buel, Lucinda Godard, Clarinda Haight and Mary Peck. Oliver Peck and Fear Foster Peck were her grandparents who settled in Norway, NY, but their stones have never been found. There is some debate about her birth date. Ira Peck's, Peck family book, has it June 1, 1795, but on the stone it looks like June 10, 1796. We need a closer reading from the stone or there may be an error. Samuel Bard's mother, Abigail Peck (also in this cemetery) is thought to be from a different Peck line in CT.
