Funeral services were held for Linnie Laura "Duck" Butler, 70, of Lucedale on Friday, April 10, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Bexley Baptist Church.

Interment followed in Bexley Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Havard officiating the services.

A homemaker and a member of Bexley Baptist Church, she died April 6. She was born on November 9, 1944 in George County.

She is survived by her sons Donnie Kittrell and Aiden Butler, both of Lucedale; step-children Rhonda Butler of Tampa, Fla., Denise Brewer of Sand Hill and Kial Butler of Clermont, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Essie Mae (Rickey) Cochran of Lucedale; and brothers Jessie (Joette) Hobby and James Anthony Hobby, both of Lucedale.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Donnie E. Kittrell and Burchard "Buck" Butler; grandson Jeremy Rodriguez; parents Clayton and Essie Mae Hobby; brother Jack Clayton Hobby; and sister Margarette Howell.

Pallbearers included Andy Hobby, Paul Hobby, Mike Hobby, Jeremy Stringer, Kelly Stringer and Joseph Taylor.

George County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
