Chad R. Shakespear of Tropic, Utah (age 70) joined his parents: Eldredge R. and Dixie Hall Shakespear on Sunday, July 2, 2023. He passed away in Panguitch. Chad was born on January 7, 1953 in Panguitch. He has a wonderful family consisting of brothers: Rett (deceased) Danny, Ed, and Vard Shakespear; his sisters: Betty Hepworth (deceased), Arvon Button and Christy Gardner; and his sisters and brothers-in-law: Christine, Vickie, Camille, Nikki Shakespear and Romell Hepworth (deceased), Nolan Button (deceased) and Jeff Gardner. He loved his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and dear friends. He was married to Joan Palmer and Joy Woolsey, both deceased.
Chad graduated from Bryce Valley High School in 1971. Chad was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Chad was a chef by profession. He worked at The Wahweep Lodge at Lake Powell, Town & Country Restaurant in Cedar City, Bryce Canyon Lodge and Bryce Canyon Pines. He was also an excellent artist and used those talents in the Buffets he prepared. He loved classic cars and his music.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 12:00 Noon in the Tropic Ward Chapel, where family and friends are welcome to come visit with Chad's family from 11-11:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Tropic Cemetery.
