IIene Dodge, age 86, of Columbia, Missouri passed away on June 30, 2023 at her home. She was born on March 29, 1937 in Iowa; a daughter of Wilson Jennings and Nellie Francis Metcalf. She was united in marriage to George Dodge on January 12, 1965 in Moberly, Missouri and he preceded her in death in 2018. Ilene graduated from Moberly High School in 1956 and after marriage she and George resided in the area until the mid-90's when they relocated to Columbia. Ilene volunteered in the Boone Hospital Gift Shop for many years. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ilene is survived by sons, Marty Dodge (Marlissa) of Auxvasse; Monty Dodge (Kim) of Columbia; her sister Twila of Minnesota; grandchildren Maurita, Daniel (Brittany), Robbie (Sommer), Amanda, Sayde, Taylor, Samantha, Mark (Laura), Pamela; great-grandchildren Brayton, Cooper, Ayden, Owen, Kylee, Corbin, Huxley, Garrett (Kayla), Ellie, Addison, Carter and Easton and many nieces and nephews and other extended family. Ilene was preceded in death by parents, her husband, a son Mark DeWayne Dodge and twelve of her fourteen siblings. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Moberly Missouri.
