John Fred Feagin Jr., 91, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023 in Arlington, Texas.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Graveside Service: 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas.

John was born on October 31, 1931 in DeKalb, Texas to John Fred Feagin Sr. and Eva May Bishop Feagin. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He moved to Fort Worth in the 50's and was employed by General Motors and retired after 40 years of Service. It was not uncommon for him to be doing side work by fencing and roofing to help support his family.

In John's early years, time was spent by being on the lake with his children and friends. He had a love for riding motor cycles, supporting his favorite sports, Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys , horse racing and NASCAR, and loved old country music.

John moved to Arlington in the 60's and lived in Arlington until having to move into a memory care facility in 2021. His neighbors were family and in his later life, he was a fixture on his front porch. He waived as they went by, no one was a stranger. He was there for his neighbors in there time of need as they were him.

John was not a man of many words, but action. The love he had for his children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren were strong and unbroken.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Bernadine "Bonnie" Feagin; his parents; and numerous brothers and sisters.
