Obituary for Ralph W. Grogan, DVM

Ralph W. Grogan passed away June 23, 2023 at the Claremore VA, at the age of 93. He was the husband of his beloved wife, Bonnie, father of two, grandfather of six, and great-grandfather of one.

Ralph was born in 1929 in Deport, Texas. He earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M, where he was also in the ROTC. Based on his stories, he seemed to be a bit of a prankster. His Texas A&M cap was his favorite. He served in the Air Force toward the end of the Korean War.

He began practicing as a veterinarian at Acadia Veterinary Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He met his future wife, Bonnie, in Tulsa and they married in 1959. He was a devoted father and husband, and in later years, loved having his grandchildren visit.

Ralph was a member of Rotary International for years. He served at least one term as president for his local club and maintained a perfect attendance record for many years.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Rotary International.

Graveside service is Friday June 30, 2023, at 2:30 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home and Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. A memorial service will be arranged for a later date.
