Husband of Mary Hamlow Anderson (1873-1962). Father Florence Anderson Benson (1903-1999), Cliff Anderson (1905-1976), Blanche Anderson Schlaphoff (1908-1985),Gladys Anderson Magnuson Oyer (1911-2004), and Marian Anderson Gronquist (1916-2003).

Anderson —Albert P., 85, of Waverly, died Thursday [ November 9, 1961 ]. Born in Ill. , he came to Nebraska in 1898. At one time he worked for the Burlington railroad then entered the mercantile business in Waverly. Farmed at Marquette from 1919 to 1930 and was active in the Marquette Farm Bureau and Farm Unions of Hamilton County. He once ran for Lancaster County Clerk and at Marquette he ran for State Representative in the two-house legislature. In 1930 he returned to Waverly and farmed there until he retired in 1942. He and his wife celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary June 20, 1961 . He was a member of the Waverly Methodist Church and the Norden Club in Lincoln . Survivors: wife, Mary; son, A. Clifford Anderson of Lincoln ; daughters, Mrs. Florence Benson, Mrs. Blanche Schlaphoff, Mrs. Marian Gronquist, all of Lincoln; Mrs. Gladys Magnuson of Pasadena, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Verna Jacobson of Hastings; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Waverly Methodist Church , the Rev. Dwight Ganzel. Waverly Cemetery. Pallbearers: Raymond Nelson, Ivan Johnson, LaVerne Peterson, Ivan Peterson, Carl Swanson, and Joe Hamlow.
