Donald loved to draw and create music. He was self-taught on the fiddle, bass guitar, and keys, and always enjoyed playing a gig with his band. Known for his smile and his "dad jokes", he loved to make people laugh.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, James Azo and Jewel Milstead Crockett; and brother, James "Jim" Clifton Crockett.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 52 years, Cherlyn Crockett of Forney, TX; daughter, Chrystal Moore and husband Jason of Forney, TX; son, Andrew Crockett and wife Porshya of Frisco, TX; brother, Robert Crockett and wife Delfina of Temecula, CA; sister, Judy Hall and husband Johnny of Crestview, FL; sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Crockett of Beeville, TX; seven grandchildren, Mason, Makenzie, Jaxson, Deklyn, Elias, Micheala, and Aric.
A graveside service will be held at Glenwood Cemetery in Beeville, TX at a later date.
