Vera Marie Pollard, age 77, of DeWitt died Monday, March 24, 2008. She was born September 14, 1930 in Bayou Meto to Daughter of William Lee Davidson and Inez Smith Davidson. She was the owner of Vera's Cafe and a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Terrell Leon Pollard, children: Darrell Bouscher (Ann) of DeWitt, James Bouscher (Janie) of Tichnor, Delbert Bouscher (Glenda) of DeWitt, Glenda Coker (Mike) of Clarendon, Glendon Pollard (Barbara) of Florence, Colorado, brotherL Virgil Davidson of California; sisters: Faye Miller of California, Lucille Ledford of Atkins, Velma Thomas of California, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Delbert L. Bouscher; brothers: Bud Davidson, Edward Davidson, James Louis Davidson and sister, Victoria Garrison.
