Death of Thomas G. Daniels
The death occurred at his home here on Wednesday morning of Mr. Thomas G. Daniels, at the age of 75 years. Deceased had been in failing health for the past four years, his death being due to hardening of the artieries. The late Mr. Daniels was born in North Easthope and had lived at Haysville for a number of years before coming to New Hamburg, twenty-eight years ago. He was a member of St. George's Anglican Church and highly respected by all. His widow, who was formerly Anna Maria Payson, one son and six daughters survive him. Three sons, George, Thomas and Charles, and two daughters, Alice and Louis have predeceased him. The surviving children are: Mrs. George Evans, of Bridgeport, Conn., Mrs. John Hepworth, Cando, Sask, Mrs. Elijah Chapman, of Wilmot, Maurice, of Listowel, Mrs. John Stever of Kitchener, Mrs. W. B. Wahl of Hamilton, and Mrs. Robert McFarland of Windsor. The funeral The funeral was held from his late home on Saturday to the Anglican Church and interment to Riverside Cemetery.
