George Herbert was a son of Thomas George Daniells and Anna Maria "Annie Marie" Pogson. He married Pearl Day "Pearly" Sanders on May 12, 1908, in Wellesley, Ontario. Pearl was a daughter of Robert Sanders. and Catherine Fink.

George and Pearl resided in New Hamburg, Ontario, and later, in Windsor, Ontario. Known children were:
- Robert (b. 1910)
- Josephine Pearl (born July 28, 1910; lived for three days)
- Evelyn (b. 1920)

George Daniells died from pleuropneumonia on November 25, 1924, at the age of 39 years.
