He was born March 28, 1941 in Bertrand, Michigan, the only son of Paul and Thelma (Bliss) Letcher.
Kenneth married Sarah Ann Lace on December 15, 1962 in Dowagiac, Michigan. Together they had three children: Katherine Ann, Sarah Jean, and Anthony Eugene.
Kenneth married the love of his life, Karen Coulter, on September 16, 1967 in Three Rivers, Michigan. Kenneth and Karen spent the early years of their marriage in Detroit before moving to and residing in Three Rivers for the last 52 years. Together they had three children: Lon, Jennifer, and Deborah.
Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He was a man of the road, driving a truck for TNT Holland for 25 years, before retiring in 2002. After retiring, Kenneth and Karen became snowbirds for many years and would spend winters in Florida where they loved to watch the Cubs in spring training and play his guitar in the clubhouse at the RV park where they stayed.
Kenneth had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, playing guitar, auto racing, gardening and making people laugh.
He was a Free Mason and a Shriner and would spend hours getting his clown makeup just right for parades.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karen Letcher; Children: Katherine (Troy) Atkinson of Kalamazoo, MI; Anthony (Bernadine) Letcher of Rio Rancho, NM; Lon Letcher of Kalamazoo, MI; Jennifer Tedder of Texas & Deborah Letcher of Coldwater, MI; 11 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; 2 sisters: Pat (Clarence) Hunsberger of Jones, MI & Victoria (Joseph) Hackenberg of Three Rivers; Several Nieces and Nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters: Mary, Joanne, Nancy and Lois; daughter: Sarah; grandson: Seth Bielawski of Centerville, UT; mother-in-law: Dorothy Coulter of Kentwood, MI; Brother-in-law: Kenneth Coulter of Hastings, MI.
