Roy Edward "Ed" Knott, 72, of 6834 Springlake Road passed away Monday, March 17, 2008, at Pekin Hospital.
Born March 31, 1935, in Cullman, Ala., to Thomas J. and Bernice (Bradley) Knott, he married Nancy Maglone on Nov. 19, 1955, in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Ellen Joyce of Pekin; one son, Dale Knott of Pekin; and one half brother, Kenith Walls of Huntsville, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ed was a machinist at Excel Foundry for more than 30 years, retiring in 1996.
He enjoyed woodworking, playing the guitar, fishing and gardening.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
