Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake led by Fr. John Kunz. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Madison Lake following services. Memorials are preferred to All Saints Catholic Church or Good Counsel.
Adeline was born on July 26, 1932 in Mankato to Louis and Marie (Hartung) Goettl. Raised on the family farm east of Mankato with 10 siblings. Adeline was united in marriage to Curtis Sieberg on October 28, 1952 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. She was a member of Catholic Order of Foresters, Madison Lake Historical Society, Extension Club, and Catholic Aid. She enjoyed visits with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, farm life, her flower and vegetable gardens, bird watching, caring for her cats and dogs, and bingo.
Adeline is survived by her children, John (Jeanette) Sieberg of Nicollet, Donna (Lenny) Olson of St. Clair, Kenneth (Sue) Sieberg of St. Clair, David (Pam) Sieberg of Buffalo, Beverly (Mike) Peters of Eagle Lake, Bonnie (Ryan) Rutgers of Tyler, Peggy (Jon) Tagatz of Le Sueur, and Timothy (Michele) Sieberg of Minnesota Lake; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; siblings, Cletus (Elaine) Goettl of Mankato, Louis (Donna) Goettl of Eagle Lake, and Richard Goettl of Mankato; and brother-in-law, Marlyn Denn.
Adeline is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis; her parents, Louis and Marie Goettl; siblings, Julian (Mary) Goettl, Bernard (Delores) Goettl, Lorraine (Jerry) Frederick, Wilfred (LaVonne) Goettl, Roger (Sandra) Goettl, Elaine (Francis) Swieger, and Mary Lou Denn; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Goettl.
