Anne DeWitt, 89, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 9, 2003. She was at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde K. DeWitt; her two brothers, John and Seaman Zylich; and her two sisters, Mary Hoxie and Tillie Filiak.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Victor K. and Mary Anne DeWitt, Gary M. and Louise DeWitt, and Kenny DeWitt; two daughters, Betty E. Beach and Ludine Woodford; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth Zylich; her brother-in-law, Pete Filiak; and many nieces and nephews.

Anne was a delightful person and brought joy to all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:45 a.m. at Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew's Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Stone Ridge, N.Y. in the spring. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
