Coco was adopted by her first Dog Mom, Debbie at approx 10 months of age. At approx 4 years old, Coco went to live with Debbie's sister, Kat.

Coco was a very smart and affectionate girl who loved her people and even cats. She was an AKC registered Chocolate Lab (Gus's Stormy Coco) who could understand so much that was being said, that her Mom had to start spelling things out that she didn't want Coco to hear. One of those words was "breakfast" which finally had to be abbreviated to "BRK" after she learned what the spelling of BREAKFAST meant. She loved scrambled eggs and malt-o-meal poured over her dog food. She learned how to surf the countertops really well after discovering that grilled turkey burgers tasted divine.

Coco and her Mom would walk on the property late at night for her to do her business before going to bed. There was a herd of deer that came to feed under the oak trees on the property but they soon became comfortable with Coco and Mom walking out in the side of the yard, with Mom talking and Coco checking things out. The deer got to where they would keep eating acorns and not even raise their heads. Coco loved everyone and everything. Coco came down with histoplasmosis and Mom spent a small fortune trying to save her girl's life. In the end, she was suffering too much so Mom laid in the floor and held her as she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. If ever there was an Angel of a Chocolate Lab, Coco was the one! Her passing left everyone heartbroken. She was buried under the big oak trees in her back yard where the deer herd continued to come eat acorns.
