Rollie, the son of Ira Clement Prewitt and Harriet P. (Criswell) Prewitt, came with his mother and brothers to old Greer County in 1890, and homesteaded 160 acres in the old Antioch Community near present-day Eldorado, OK. He married Martha "Mattie" Duke of MS on Nov. 9, 1903, in Quanah, TX. They had a daughter, Jessie Lee Prewitt (1904-1993), who died in Bell, CA.
