Vernell Ledet Adams-Frank, 75 went home to rest in peace with her maker after a long and courageous battle with Congestive Heart Failure on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008. She was the beloved wife of Retired Fire Chief Ronald R. Frank, Sr. and the late Lloyd L. Adams, Sr. A loving and devoted Mother of Lloyd L. Adams, Jr, Pamela A. Adams, Chief Bryan J. Adams of the Terrytown 5th District Vol. Fire Dept. and Michel M. Martello and husband Micah. Grandmother of Megan Nicole Adams and fiancé Matt Ducote, and D.J. Romero and Maxwell Adams Martello. She was also the surrogate mother of the fireman of Jefferson Parish. Daughter of the late Gustav and Anna Loup Ledet. Sister of Ethel (Floyd) Casey, Juanita Wilcox, and the late Bessie Arcement, Bernice Manning, Edward, Clarence, Ferdinand, Nolan, Hubert and Earl Ledet. Resident of Terrytown for 48 years. A member and instructor of The Good Times Jamaica Dance Club. She is an inspiration to us all by the way she continued to enjoy life to the fullest despite her illness. Relatives, Friends, Officers, Members, Operators and Auxiliary Members of the Terrytown 5th District Vol. Fire Dept. and members of Good Times Jamaica Dance Club are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd , Marrero at 1PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6-11PM and continue Wednesday from 8AM-1PM. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. In lieu of flowers, her family requests, Masses and donations to the American Heart Association in her name. Information: 504-366-4343
