Albert B Baca Sr. passed on February 17, 2017. He was born in Bosque, New Mexico to Casimiro C and Maria M Baca on August 18, 1942. Albert worked for San Bernardino County Road Department, where he retired after 35 years. He enjoyed hot rods, spending time at car shows with family and friends, his love for the rodeo, and always loved going on our annual camping trip to Kernville with family and friends. Watching his children bring their children on these special trips was one of the proudest moments we all shared.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Margaret; son, Albert "Beaver" Baca Jr. (Renette), daughter, Leslie Chavez (Matt) seven grandchildren, Matthew Chavez (Davonna), Joshua Chavez (Brenna), Trista Wilcox (Milton), Jeremy Chavez (Angelina), Halea Baca, Billy Baca, & Christina Baca. Eight great grandchildren Tiffany Wilcox, Matthew Chavez III, Lillea Schuyler, Milton Wilcox, Leo Chavez, Ellea Schuyler, Owen Gardner, and Owen Chavez. Two brothers Patricio Baca and George Baca, six sisters Mella Rodriguez, Christela Salas, Carmen Cordova, Virginia Jaramillo, Rosie Serafin and Lorraine Weaver, two stepdaughters Vickie Sailors and Sandy Boyles, many cousins, nieces and nephews and lots of friends whose company he enjoyed. Also survived by his loving dogs, Bruzier, Emmy, & Nelson, Albert was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, Jose Baca, Juilo Baca, Nester Baca, Domie Lovato, Christina Gomez, Alice Castillo, Steven Baca, Rosalina Vallejos, Rudy Baca, and Daniel Baca. As well as many special uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and his special dogs Harley and Lilly.

Albert was a people person and had the gift of gab. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held at Mead Mortuary, Friday March 3, 2017.
