Funeral services for Almeda (Coleman) Acorn, 82, of Tahlequah will be held Monday at 1 P.M. at Hart Memorial Chapel with Rev. J.R. Stotsdill officiating.
Burial will follow in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. Her grandsons will serve
as pallbearers.
She was born December 28,1906 in Sequoyah County,Oklahoma to Charly & Akie Seabolt Coleman and died Wednesday at W.W.
Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah. She married Henry Acorn,October 25,1925 in Wilcut, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death September 27,1970;one daughter, Sharon K. Clites, also
preceded her in death. Mrs. Acorn was a member
of the Cedar Tree Baptist Church in Tahlequah. Survivors include five daughters, Jane Russell and Betty Stove of Tulsa, Audie Christie of Tahlequah, Anita Hodgin of Virginia Beach, VA. and Lou Ella Fulton; two sons,Charles Acorn of California and Billy Acorn of Tahlequah; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a
host of friends and other relatives.
