Fredrick Frost, 73, of North Vernon, passed away at 9:56 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. He was born on February 23, 1948 in Fayette County, Alabama the son of Burl & Jewel (Lowery) Frost. He graduated in 1966 from Berry High School in Berry, Alabama. He was a retired independent truck driver. He attended the First Pentecostal Church in Corbin, Kentucky. Fred enjoyed working on lawnmowers, trains and fishing. He married Judith Ann Jones on October 17, 1981 in London, Kentucky and she survives. Other survivors include his step daughter, Debra Morrow and step son, Stephen R. Misner both of Westport, Indiana; his siblings, Cedric (Evelyn) Frost of Bankston, Alabama, Sarah Sue Sandford of Flintstone, Georgia, Kay (Gary) Lollar of Bankston, Alabama, Grace (Phillip) Freeman of Fayette, Alabama, Kenneth (Frances) Frost of Danville, Georgia; step granddaughter, Brandi Piper of Edinburgh, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Tracy McIntyre officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, December 18 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. According to Fred's wishes he will be cremated after the service and burial will follow at a later date at Park Hills Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.
