Lois Maxine Jenkins, 91, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Page Memorial Hospital.
She was born on July 26, 1931, in Luray and was the daughter of the late John Frank Rothgeb and Edith Virginia Racer Rothgeb.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Morgan; and a brother, "Ikey" Rothgeb.
On May 8, 1954, she married Robert Lee Jenkins, who died on January 18, 2012.
Left to cherish her memories are her three daughters, Cindy Miller and husband Kenny of Rileyville, Patty Thomas and husband Rick, and Kathy Jenkins and partner Kurt Harrell, all of Luray; three grandchildren, Ryan Thomas and wife Crystal of Morgantown, W.Va., Pam Seal and husband Greg of Rileyville, and Robin Savage and husband James of Luray; and three great-grandchildren, Aaron Seal, Tristan Savage, and Leela Savage.
Services will be private, with burial at the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray. Memorial contributions may be made to the Luray Volunteer Fire Department, 1 Firehouse Lane, Luray, Va. 22835; or to the Luray Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 266, Luray.
