He was the son of the late John E. and Phoebe Regula Emig and he married Ruth Burrier on Dec. 26, 1935. She preceded him in death Aug. 24, 1993. In addition to his wife, his parents; a son Rodney; a daughter, Pauline; and four brothers and two sister preceded him in death.
