James Pierson Allen Jr., 61, of Hammond, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010. He was born on July 7, 1949, in Hammond, son of Pansy Brown Allen and the late James Allen Sr. Mr. Allen was a Mason and past master of Livingston Lodge 160, Hammond, member of Independence Lodge 458 and Ideal Lodge 367, past District 19 master and D.D.G.M., 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason of Baton Rouge Valley and past worthy patron of Fern Leaf Chapter 24, Hammond. Surviving are his wife, Marylee Loupe Allen; daughter and son-in-law, Whitney Allen and Sean Yohe; granddaughter, Ilsa Jane Yohe; mother, Pansy Allen; cousins, Elaine Guagliardo and Wayne Allen. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, Tuesday, Nov. 30, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Visiting at Woodland Park Baptist Church, Hammond, on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m., with Dr. Pete Charpentier, the Rev. Randy Ray and the Rev. Mitch Williams officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery Hammond. Pallbearers will be Skip Perez, Dr. Larry Knight, Sean Yohe, Wayne Allen, Kyle Busekist and Matt Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Bumpy Jones, Marcel Savoie, Luke Catalanatto, Spanky Byrum, Herman Keller, Bill Molere, Harold Ballard, Dr. James Davis and James Burris.
