George Dempsey Legh-Page Jr. was born March 20, 1948, in Houston Texas and died peacefully on May 21, 2023 at home surrounded by his wife Susan, and sons David and Daniel.

George was preceded in death by his parents George and Joyce Legh-Page; mother-in-law Norma Legh-Page; brother John; and sister Virginia. He is survived by his wife Susan, son David and wife Anna, son Daniel and wife Kathryn; sisters, Debbie, Katherine, Cherelyn; and brother, Robert. He is also survived by grandchildren, Parker, Harrison, Knox, Madison and Kinsley Legh-Page.

George grew up in Houston attending Parker Elementary, Johnston Jr. High and Westbury High School. His Senior year his family relocated to the Chicago area where he met his future wife, Susan and graduated from Wheeling High School. He started his college career in Texas playing football at Tyler Junior College and then transferring to University of Houston, where he played as a proud Houston Cougar. He continued his education after football, earning his degree in Business Management. George and Susan were married in 1971 and had been married 52 years. They had their first son, David, in 1978 while living in Richmond, VA. The following year, they moved to Houston, Texas where they welcomed their youngest son, Daniel, in 1980. They have called Alief, Texas home for the past 43 years.

George faithfully worked for Ulano Corporation for 35 years and traveled the country servicing customers and making lifelong friendships along the way. He became well known in the printing and graphic arts industry, where he never knew a stranger that he could not win over. He had a sincere dedication and love for his company and clients.

George had a larger-than-life personality along with a laugh and smile that filled any room he walked into. He was famous for his "Legh-Page backyard" house parties where anyone and everyone was always invited. His "care packages" were legendary, as he would frequently ship packages to family, friends or coworkers that were always thoughtful and included some sort of gadget, CD's, koozie or memorabilia- it was like a personalized surprise grab bag for whoever was lucky enough to open it. George was a beacon of positivity, always seeing the good in everything while never shying away from throwing out a playful joke or three. He was never one to sit idle and thoroughly enjoyed festivals, sporting events and concerts. He never turned down an opportunity to attend grandkids' recitals and ballgames or play a round of golf with friends.

At George's request there will be no services. Cremation will be under the direction of Katy Funeral Home, Katy, TX. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
