Elsie Marie Dockins passed away on March 16, 2023, at her home in Omaha, Nebraska surrounded by family at the age of 87. Elsie was born July 21, 1935 in Jamestown, Missouri to Daniel and Viola (Brizendine) Borts. Elsie was married to the love of her life, Delano Gene Dockins, on May 29, 1958, until his death on June 21, 1994. She was a beloved, fun, loving and fiercely proud mother to James, Karen, and Jennifer. She considered her three children her greatest accomplishment in life.

Elsie graduated from Prairie Home High School. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Boonville, Missouri for many years and was baptized there on July 9,1955. She was married to her loving husband Delano for 36 years until his death in 1994. Elsie, a widow, married Rollo Frederick Timm (October 5, 1923-September 15, 2015) on December 28, 2000 in Jackson, Tennessee.

Elsie worked in healthcare for most of her life at Saint Joseph Hospital and Cooper County Memorial Hospital for many years until her retirement in 1995. Elsie was a dedicated room mother and volunteer at New Franklin Schools throughout the time her children were there. She and Delano loved attending their children's sporting events and supporting the high school teams. Her favorite activity was spending time with her family, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren.

Elsie held dear to her Catholic faith through the years. She had many beautiful memories and wonderful relationships with her church friends. She enjoyed reading and staying active by walking and exercising everyday. She loved staying busy cleaning, cooking, and doing yard work. She enjoyed playing dominoes with her grandchildren and following her favorite University of Kentucky basketball team.

Elsie is survived by one son, James Franklin (Kelly Bestgen) of Omaha, Nebraska; one daughter Jennifer Lyn (Greg Forsyth) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Karen Sue (Robert Elz) of Atlanta, Georgia on May 20, 2021. Elsie's seven grandchildren are Chelsea Marie (Adam) Reischl, Bethany Michelle (Alex) Cutler, Robert Vail (Hannah) Elz, Zachary Lorenz Elz, Emily Marie Elz, Alexis Maria Forsyth, and Dalton James Franklin Forsyth; three great-grandchildren Mason Reischl, Marlowe Reischl, and Annelise Elz; siblings Harold Borts of Afton, MO; Charlene (Uel) Smith of Jefferson City, MO; Larry (Susan) Borts of Jamestown, MO; and Jack (Joanne) of Fortuna, MO; brothers-in-law Abraham Rohrbach of California, MO; Charles Schoenthal of Jamestown, MO; many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces. In addition to her husbands and daughter, Elsie was preceded in death by her five brothers Gary, Jay, Robert, Donald, and Gerald Borts; three sisters Norma Borts, Sharon Rohrbach, and Dorothy Schoenthal.
