In 1818 the HANSEL Farm was described as "..About 137 acres of Land, 70-80 acres of which are cleared, and laid off into convenient fields with about 15 acres of good timothy meadow the residue in timber. There are on the farm a comfortable dwelling house, a large barn, a saw mill a new Great mile house(?), 40 feet square. This property is on Jennings Run(Small Creek running between Mt.
