HENDERSON, Eldon Lavern — Unexpectedly at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Friday, April 24, 2009, in his 84th year. Devoted husband of Ruby (Copeland). Loving father of Donna Henderson, Al (Elaine), Terry, and Robert (Barbe). Beloved grandfather of Jeremy, Jason, Casie, Alycia, Cody, Erin, Adam and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Bolen and sisters Helen (Stinson), Elva (Keast) and Ella (Melenson). Predeceased by Aleth (Acheson), Della (Oldfield) and Douglas. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He was a life member of Royal Canadian Legion, Shelburne. The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral Home, 318 Main St. E., Shelburne on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 1 p.m. Interment in the Shelburne Cemetery.
