Jackie was born on July 24, 1941, in Springfield, the daughter of Jim and Lou Willis. She married Frank Kohlrus on August 8, 1988, in Missouri.
Jackie was a lifelong resident of the Springfield area. She worked for the State of Illinois Department on Aging, was self-employed with her husband, and worked for Williams Township. Jackie enjoyed painting, drawing, crocheting, woodworking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin daughters, Bonnie and Connie Hughes; son, Richard Hughes; and her beloved dog, Missy.
