Mrs. Marian Morrill of Creve Couer, mother of Mrs. Chester Anderson, died at 9:15 Tuesday morning in St. Francis hospital, Peoria, where she had been a patient since last week. She had been in ill health for some time, but not serious until she suffered a stroke a few days ago.
Mrs. Morrill was born in Nauvoo, January 2, 1872, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sigmund M. Walther.
She is survived by two sons and three daughters. Besides Mrs. Anderson, there is Mrs. Mae Crette, Hamilton, Ill.: Mrs. Frances Soataert, Kansas City; Mrs. Ida Giozanetto, Lake Worth, Tex.; Donald Morrill, Keokuk, Ia.; and Edwin Morrill, Peoria; and one sister, Mrs. Ed Rahn, Nauvoo.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Thursday at the Rounds Funeral chapel and burial will be in Hersman cemetery.
