Mrs. Stacy May Bearden, aged 83, resident of De Queen, died Tuesday, Oct 23, 1990 in Ridgeview Lodge Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Church of Christ of Dierks with Roger Harris, minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Dierks Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral home. She was born June 14, 1907 in Virginia: was the widow of Archie Bearden Sr: and a member of Dierks Church of Christ. Survivors are two sons, Burley Bearden of Benton and Archie Bearden Jr. of Dierks: three daughters, Norene Roberson of DeQueen, Ozella Brummett of Little Rock, and Eunice Quinn of Pine Bluff: three brothers, Roy Mounts, George Mounts, and Wilburn Mounts all of Dierks,: four sisters, Nannie Cook, Maudie Golden and Hester Kesterson, all of Dierks, and Flora Harris of DeQueen: 15 grandchildren: 18 great-grandchildren: and a number of nieces and nephews
