Funeral Services for Richard DeBord of Waterloo, 49, a native of Princeville and son of Mrs. Byron DeBord, were held this morning in the Bouton Memorial Home with Rev. Robert Spencer in charge. Burial was in Princeville Cemetery.
He was born in Princeville May 1, 1914, a son of Byron and Latha Dunn DeBord. He was a veteran of World War II and had been in administrative and buying capacity for Black's Department Store in Waterloo.
Surviving are his widow; three children at home; his mother, and aunt, Mrs. Bess Hale of Peoria; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were also held in the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home in Waterloo.
