Al, of, Amarillo passed away Wednesday. He was born in Painesville, Ohio, to Grove Barker and Mary Alice Patterson. He worked in the railroad industry for thirty years including Progress Rail Services in Amarillo, Rescar Inc. and Millennium Rail Inc. He married Kathryn Patterson on Feb. 22, 1985, in Longview. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge since age 18. Survivors include his wife; a brother and wife; three nephews and two nieces.
