Elizabeth B. Ashley was born Jan. 25, 1908, in Butler, Okla. A homemaker, she lived in Klamath Falls before moving in 1926 to Hillsboro. She married Norman J. in 1926; he died in 1977.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan E. Simanel; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Her son Norman J. Jr. died in 1999, her son Warren G. in 1996, and her son Ronald K. in 1971.

Elizabeth G. Mann, 95, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at her home in Hillsboro.
Services will be on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Donelson, Sewell and Mathews Mortuary, 171 NE Third Ave., with Pastor Fred Kane of Hillsboro First United Methodist Church officiating. A reception will follow in the friendship room at the funeral home.
Interment will be at the Old Scotch Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Mann was born on Jan. 25, 1908 in Butler, Okla., to James Henry Ashley and Sarah Ida Dunagan Ashley.
She married Norman James Mann on April 6, 1926 in Klamath Falls. Shortly after their wedding, the couple moved to Hillsboro, where they lived ever since. They were married 51 years before Mr. Mann died in 1977.
Mrs. Mann was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, canning and sewing. She made all her daughter's dancing and baton twirler outfits when she was younger.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan E. Simantel of Aloha, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons, two grandsons, two great grand daughters and 14 siblings.
Donelson, Sewell and Mathews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
